Avoid at all costs. With no warning my site became inaccessible. SQL server is no longer available. Front page extensions broke, sub webs for my .NET apps were gone. Tech support answered only one of my repeated inquiries and simply said that my site came up in their browser and they fixed the front page extensions. They did not look into any of the other problems. The site went down again the next day and I've heard nothing from them. The SQL server is gone and none of my .NET pages work any longer. I can't fix them since the FP extensions no longer work. |

Horrible host.. manages to hose up every migration. My sites have been down for going on a month... tech support will not answer - tickets are deleted instead of resolved.. etc. In short, this is the WORST host I have ever experienced! Stay AWAY from these idiots. I finally had to relocate to a new host due to their incompetence.. after hemmoraging users and sponsors. |

This company ranks as the worst I've ever had to deal with. They took my money and never gave me what I paid for. They do not answer a telephone, the do not rerspond by email, they either ignore or delete my trouble tickets, and my site is still down! We had the same problem, 1PlanHost abandoned all their clients, including several of our ASP and .NET sites. Thank God for DriveThruWebHosting.com, they helped us move our domains from 1Plan and their hosting plans have more features for the same $$! |

Steer clear at all costs! If you are still with them, get out asap! I finally got out 2 weeks ago and it is great to be back up and running after 1 plan host disappeared off the face of the earth and abandoned all their customers. Of course I have not received a refund for my unused hosting, and worse yet they have stolen one of my domain names that I registered through them and they will not release control of it. |

Avoid 1planhost! Signing up with them is a guarantee that you will have problems and more importantly lack of support to solve them. It's a long saga and I could give you an endless list of problems I have had with them. The latest is an 18 hour outage of email service and not even a small hint on their support pages about what is being done to fix it. I would like to see someone top that! I'm now looking to migrating my web sites to another host. I will not be too picky - nothing could be worse than 1planhost. |

We have 15 websites hosted by these guys. They sold the company, and the migration was a bust. Now, not only are our sites all DOWN, but the 1planhost.com site is down as well. Every complaint you have read here is valid - we have a number of clients we've moved over to 1planhost and now we have to find new servers for all of them. We are very, very, very unhappy. Save yourself the trouble. These guys are incompetent and obviously don't care. |

they totally screwed my business. And they won't even refund me. They are morons, pure and simple. I STRONGLY suggest you host ANYWHERE apart from 1planhost. That is unless you like overloaded servers, incompetent support staff and constant downtime due to technical issues. Oh, and pathetic excuses from their 'CEO' who has as much right running a busines as Mickey Mouse does. |

Other than the disaster during the change over, for which there should be no excuse, 1planhost has always answered my questions and fixed any problems I had within a few hours or so. I will have to wait and see how the new owners handle customer service but so far it has been very good, e.g. a problem with SmarterStats was correct in 2 hours after submitting my Help Desk Ticket. |

Absolutely horrible hosting company. Always something down, and very long times to fix or even respond to questions. Avoid at all costs. Some problems related to their cart services they would never respond to. They would just close tickets and hope you did not notice. Unreal. |

Hi All I have experienced the same as everyone else here. 1plan were a great company to be with, but now I am stuck with them as I dare not move the sites I run. They rank high for their keywords and also use cart32. Trying to find another host with what I need and high b/w is a nighmare. I submitted a ticket on sunday 20th August because within one hour I received over 18000 emails from a spammer. It is now 25th august and still nothing from them. And to make it worse, I cannot check the status of the ticket and the support section on their site has been removed. So it is now impossible to raise a ticket at all with them. Avoid at all costs. |

Former owner Darrell Williams was being PC, but the fact is the new owners failed miserably with the migration, there was virtually zero communcation regarding the move and now (September 2006) 5 months later, the "live chat" is never up, emails and web-posts for support go unanswered, and the tech support telephone calls get routed to "Veronica in A/R" so she can take messages. OK I'm not having a good day, 1planhost site down, control panel down, DNS servers down, all telephone numbers down. Has anyone found a number that will get you to a human being? A contact number for the original owner so I can at least find out who bought the company (1planhost wouldn't say) and find out just what is going on.....some sites are still up....a miracle after the 'migration'...it was more like the lemmings migration off a cliff. 1PlanHost was the best for 3 years, the support staff was excellent and CEO Darrell Williams was a dream come true, he even called me at home on a Saturday and walked me through a half hour of steps to fix the problem. THEN Darrell sold the company to the WORST hosts, a nightmare come true! Migration took weeks and was horribly frustrating, all my sites were down, emails went unanswered, Trouble Tickets were ignored for days and then deleted. I had to spend weeks getting my corrupted websites fixed. I stayed with 1Plan hoping things would get better, and for a few months things were okay, but now my websites are down all the time, there is no support, even the 1Plan website seems to be gone! There is no phone contact, "disconnected"! Darrell Williams, please let all of us know when you start a new company, and then please let us know when you're going to sell it so we can abandon ship before we go under and drown. Now I have to find a new webhost, can anyone recommend? Darrell, you were fantastic for years but you let us down by not warning us before you sold to the IMCOMPETENTS. I understand that business is busine$$ but I was very surprised and disappointed that Darrell would leave us in such a snakepit. |

I have been a customer of 1 plan host for over two years. They are horrible! Ever since they mis-represented their "server migration" which was actually a company take-over, the service has become intolerable. Customer service never answers the phone, my site and my webmaster's site are down EVERY DAY! The shopping cart is down so I can't access sales, emails bounce back all the time, trouble tickets are closed out and not corrected, and when the sites are down, no one from 1 plan host lets the customers know. My site has been down for a total of 30 hours this past week! They never give refunds even though they promise to. I am leaving this company. |

Darrell Williams was great. Very few problems and the best support you could imagine. You were always able to get someone on the phone. The new owners are terrible. They are ruining my business which I have had on the web for twelve years, seven with 1planhost. There is no support. As of 9/18/06 they appear to be gone completely. After transferring ownership in April service has steadily gotten worse. All web sites have been down for 4 days now. Email just went down today. The corp. site - 1planhost.com -is also gone! They company that 'acquired' them, WebHostPlus, does not answer any support or service requests. Other forums indicated they have moved out of their NJ offices. |

1 Plan Host is kAputt,, 3 domains out of email and this sucks, Contacted Hostmonster.com and someone actually answered the phone 24/7 coverage and will contact Wild West Domains who did all of my domain registrations, using whois to find out that bit. Tried calling 1PH and phones are busy and not answered. If they arn't back quick, we outta get these guys and bring them to Justice. 1planhost truly is AWOL. Even their home page is not available. I had 2 sites with them - neither are available - neither is my control panel or either ftp site. I think they have packed up and moved out of town. I cannot find any way to reach them . . . and I just paid my renewal fee 2 months ago! That's the least of the problems - my database is unaccessible, and my last local backup is several days old. I have no way to recover it. |

We have identical problems since the migration and no support persons can be reached, they do not respond to tickets for over a month and are totally useless. Our business has lost hundreds of thousands of dollars due to downtime and screwed up website due to 1planhost.com's failure to get the migration right. Our online quotes forms and our databases have been trashed and we have not been able to get them going again since the migration. Perhaps they left some files on the old server and that is why they're unreachable. I say its high time we start a class action lawasuit against them for whatever compensation we can get from them? |

The original 1PlanHost.com hosting service was very good. After Host Plus purchased them, it fell apart very quickly. I hope Darrell Williams (who I liked by the way) got a good price for the company, because the sale spread a LOT of pain around to his old customers. This new group is a total joke. I honestly can not express how upset I was with them... so I won't try - just warning you to run for the hills! I have moved over to DiscountASP.NET and am very happy now. |

Same comment as Dave's no more site for me, no more 1planhost site, no more control panel, no one answers the phone, no responses to emails to support either. However....people in Europe are able to access the sites (1planhost's and mine) as well as the control panel. I remotely told them how to forward my messages to other accounts (these are piling up, it has been this way since monday morning), but it does not seem to work. Any input on the matter would be greatly appreciated... |

48+ hours no response from the provider. The 1planhost website is down and the webhostplus 24/7 help is offline and has been for 2+ days. I've been on hold over 2 hours with the message telling me i can leave a message to better assist me. Considering that I've left 7+ messages without a single response I'm highly upset. I can't even move my domain anywhere else cause I cannot access the information to do so. |

I read on another blog that the new owners of 1planhost.com, webhostplus.com, were hacked and lost all data on 16 servers. I too lost my site, email, and control panel. I have contacted webhostplus.com in every way possible and they will NOT reply to anything. I'm moving! |

1PlanHost seems to be off the air. The contact number has been blocked. I can no longer access my pages, and there is a "please bare with us" message on their page. They are either ignorant or are playing a cruel joke on all of us. No Phone, No service, No web contact. |

During the migration process, I had to switch hosts because my websites were down and I couldn't get any support. All my database information from my clients disappeared. I dialed the support hundreds of times and it was always busy or they wouldn't answer. I dialed random extension numbers until I finally got someone. If you have a domain name issue, contact Natalia Kofman at nkofman@webhostplus.com. I had to threaten her with a lawsuit because she "accidently" submitted my domain name under someone else's contact information. As far as billing, I don't care as long as I have access to my domain name and another host. 1PlanHost was good initially but has become horrible. |

Of all the gall - these buggers seem to finally have come back online and the first thing I got from them was an email telling me that my accout was up for renewal soon. Nothing about the fact that they and everything on the servers went poof. Don't jack aropund with these dimwits - just move. We moved two websites in one day. Remember that if you have your domain registered with them, it is really registered through Wild West Domains -we were able to go through them (actually subsidiary secureserver.net) to get our domain namservers changed while 1planhost was still down. However, you have to go through a 1planhost frontpage on their server to do this. Since 1planhost seems to have come back online for the time being (9/24/06), if you haven't gotten out yet this is the time to move! |

The support helpdesk now appears to be abandoned. 24 hr promised support reply but after 5 days, nothing. Support are not answering their phones and there is no response from billing or sales either. If you are with 1planhost, you must change your site now or it may become more difficult to transfer your domain if the hosting is completely abandoned. This is likely due to the large number of people cancelling accounts due to abandonment of the support desk. |

Service has gone into the toilet with these guys. Cannot ahold of them to transfer my domain name and transfer requests go unanswered. Fear they are going to screw me on this one. Website not visible to a large portion of my audience since routing issue on their end causes Brighthouse (Tampabay RR) customers to be unable to access site. Opened ticket, heard nothing for a WEEK. Getting off of this host as quickly as I possibly can, luckily my contract is up in Dec. Recommend anyone/everyone to STAY FAR FAR AWAY. |

I think everyone has voiced my concern. This host is horrific!! Support... Non existent..nobody will follow up with you. Numbers place you on hold indefinably. Support links fail..not to mention several others. What a freekin joke. The sad part is you will never get your money back. So if you need to transfer your domain go here https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/rhp/default.asp?prog_id=webweaverinternetservices&ci=1767&se=%2B Look at the top for a support number (GoDaddy) Support Phone: (480) 624-2500. Call them and they WILL HELP. They will have you access the "My Account" to begin the process of recovering your domain. You will need to fill out a form and fax with Drivers License (and additional info if you are a business). This is the first step. Next you may want to get another host. |

Site went down 2 weeks ago without warning, they ignored my support requests, then they had the gall to email me demanding payment for service renewal. I told them they wouldn't be getting a renewal payment until they brought my site back up and met their uptime guarantee, and they responded by immediately terminating my control panel service without a refund for my remaining time. 1PlanHost has really messed up my business. I cannot get into my website for maintenance or to copy it out of there. I cannot get my Cart32 settings out of there, and noone at the company cares at all. I am up for a class action lawsuit. This is just out there! I am just starting to get moved but will have to rebuild the shopping cart and apply a lot of updates to the new site. Costing me money and more money in lost business and lost reputation in the market place!! |

I have been trying to sell my webbased business and of course. I can't everyone wants to see our website, prices and inventory and of course everyone i deal with says your sites down. I not only have been lossing the potential sale of the business I have also be lossing customers who buy from me. With this "Guaranteed" 100% uptime. 1Plan Host should be sued for fradulent hosting practices. They are holding my domain name hostage for 60 days after I've proven I am the owner of the domain. I've spent weeks trying to get this resolved. After the 60 days I will be free of their horrible hosting services. We should all file a class action law suit! |
